The first characteristic is the ability to maintain interaction and convey what you want, in a variety of contexts, for example: generally follow the main points of an extensive discussion around you, as long as the speech is clearly articulated in a standard dialect;
-

-
exploit a wide range of simple language in a flexible way to express much of what he or she wants;
-
have a conversation or discussion , but sometimes it can be difficult to follow when trying to say exactly what you would like;
-
continue exhaustively, although pausing for grammar and lexical planning and repair is very obvious, especially in longer periods of free production.
-
-
The second characteristic is the ability to flexibly face the problems of daily life, for example,
-
cope with less routine situations on public transport;
-
Deal with most situations that may arise when making travel arrangements through an agent or when traveling;
-
unprepared entering conversations about familiar topics;
-
make a complaint;
-
take some initiatives in an interview / consultation (for example, to raise a new topic) but depends a lot on the interviewer in the interaction;
-
ask someone to clarify or elaborate on what you just said.
-
