Faq. Exámenes Toefl

How long does the TOEFL take to expire?

Before entering fully to answer this question that readers ask us, we must distinguish between the TOEFL IBT test and the TOEFL test.

What level of English is required for the Toefl?

In relation to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, obtain a Global score on the TOEFL iBT between 57-86, equivalent to having a B1 level of English, that is, an intermediate level. A score between 87-109 is similar to having a level B2, which is upper intermediate.

What is the difference between the TOEFL iBT test and the TOEFL test?

The TOEFL iBT test is run over the Internet and is taken more than 50 times per year, while the paper TOEFL is only offered in places where this test is available through the internet. Both one exam and the other use the same kind of questions. There is no Speaking section due to technical needs of oral responses.

TOEFL validity

The TOEFL score is only valid for two years after taking the exam. Once it expires, you cannot access it online or send it to

schools. The validity period of the TOEFL test result is quite short to ensure that schools have accurate and up-to-date information about their English skills.

You will receive an email when your results are available and you can access your account online or through the official TOEFL application. The result of exam is valid for 2 years, so you may want to download and print a PDF copy of the score report.
