How do I prepare for Aptis?

If you are taking the Aptis exam, your company, university or school will provide you with information on how to take the Aptis exam. You can register directly with us through the search engine, but you can always familiarize yourself with the Aptis test by consulting the following resources available on the following pages:

The British Council is committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in English language testing. We believe that the Aptis test should be accessible to anyone who wants to take it. We also believe that each person should have the opportunity to perform to the best of their ability on the Aptis test.

If you have a disability, you believe that Aptis is not accessible to you, or you believe that the test form will not allow you to show your true level of English, please contact your local British Council center to discuss the ways in which the test can be modified for your needs. They can make adjustments like pen and paper proofs, Braille proofs and large fonts, timing, and many others.
