Is there a break during the Toefl English test?
You can go to the restroom at any time, but remember that the total duration of the exam is approximately 3 hours. The clock is ticking while you are away. There is a mandatory 10 minute break for all test takers after the listening and reading sections.
- Raise your hand if you need to leave your seat for any reason.
- If you have to leave the exam room, you must show your identity document when you leave and when you re-enter.
- You may not use your phone, watch, or any other electronic device or unauthorized aids during the exam or during breaks.
