Faq. Exámenes Toefl
How are my answers scored on the speaking portion of the Toefl exam?
- Your responses from the Speaking section are sent to ETS, where they will be scored globally by a combination of AI ratings and multiple accredited human raters, on a scale of 0 to 4. The average grade from the four assignments is converted to a grade in a scale from 0 to 30.
- The evaluators are unaware of the identities of the test takers. This avoids the bias that can occur in other exams that use an in-person interview with a single rater. Your answers are not expected to be perfect; even high-scoring answers may have errors. Your pronunciation does not need to be that of a native English speaker. Evaluators evaluate the effectiveness of communication and your ability to accomplish assigned tasks.
