What are the Aptis exams?

  2. In the 2nd part, you must read a set of short texts and then answer multiple-choice questions about them.
  3. In the 3rd part, you will read a long text and fill in the missing words or phrases.
  4. The 4th part requires you to read an article and then answer questions about it, demonstrating your understanding.

Finally, the Listening section lasts approximately 50 minutes and is divided into 5 parts:

  1. In the 1st part, you will hear short recordings and have to answer questions about them.
  2. In the 2nd part, you must listen to a conversation and then answer multiple-choice questions based on the conversation.
  3. In the 3rd part, you will listen to a conversation and have to fill in the missing words in a script.
  4. In the 4th part, you must listen to a talk or lecture and answer questions based on it.
  5. In the 5th part, you have to listen to a conversation and then answer questions about it.

Once you have completed all the sections, your Aptis Advanced English Exam will be completed, and you should receive your results within 72 hours.

Registration and Results

As mentioned earlier, the results align with the CEFR. Candidates taking the Aptis Advanced English Exam at C1-C2 levels will receive a numerical score from 0 to 50 for the Grammar and Vocabulary section.

Regarding the other components, they will receive a numerical score from 0 to 50 and a CEFR level for each. They will also receive an overall CEFR level. All these elements will constitute the candidate's language profile.
