Speaking
The Oxford Test of English speaking module lasts approximately 15 minutes and consists of four parts.
In it, you must respond appropriately to the questions, provide real information, organize a long speech and describe, compare, contrast or suggest about what is presented to you.
Listening
The listening consists of 4 tests and lasts approximately 30 minutes. In this section, the understanding of the main, local and global meaning, of the inferred meanings, interaction and pragmatics, and the identification of details, opinion and attitude are evaluated.
Reading
The reading is divided into four tasks to assess reading comprehension. It lasts approximately 30 minutes.
This section assesses the attentive and fast reading in search of information, the understanding of reference and meaning in its context, the knowledge of the attitude, opinion and purpose of the writer and the deduction of the meaning of the text.
Writing
The last section is that of written expression. It consists of two parts and lasts approximately 45 minutes.
In this case, it is evaluated that you are capable of giving information, expressing or responding to opinions or feelings, inviting, requesting and suggesting something, writing an argument, persuasion or suggestion, and narrating and describing.
The first test has a maximum of 20 minutes for you to respond, in 80-130 words, an e-mail.
