New Lugano (Switzerland)
New Lugano, is the merger of the City of Lugano with the neighboring municipalities. The municipalities of Davesco-Sorengo, Pambio-Noranco, Cureggia, Breganzona, Gandria, Pazzallo, Pregassona and Viganello became neighborhoods of the city. Then, on April 20, 2008, the communes of Barbengo, Carabbia and Villa Luganese were also incorporated into the city of Lugano.
