How long does it take for the ielts test results?

 You will receive a transcript showing a score for each of the four skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking), as well as an overall band score. Midband scores indicate strong performance in a specific band. You will find more information on processing and interpreting scores at www.ielts.org/criteria .

 Results will be available 13 business days after the exam . In some test centers, candidates can collect their results on the 13th day. At other centers, results are mailed on the 13th day. Test centers are not allowed to provide results over the phone, by scanning, or by email.

 You will only receive a copy of the transcript. It is important that you keep it in a safe place, as copies of this certificate cannot be issued. Test centers will send copies of your transcript to up to five organizations at no additional cost.

Preview your results online

You can preview your results online thirteen days after the exam. Results will be available online for 28 days. Please note that you should not use the online results preview as an official confirmation of your performance.
